Minnesota Midwinter Singing 2027

Please join the Minnesota shape note singing community for the 25th All-Day Singing from the Cooper edition of the Sacred Harp.

Saturday, February 13, 2027
9:30 am – 3:00 pm

Olivet Congregational Church
1850 Iglehart Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota (near Fairview & Marshall)

Loaner books of the Cooper edition of the Sacred Harp will be available.

Dinner on the grounds (a potluck-style lunch) will be served at noon.

This event is free to attend and open to everyone, newcomers and experienced singers alike. 

The singing will be followed by a social on Saturday night and a “Gospel Brunch” singing the following Sunday morning. Details for both will be shared during the singing on Saturday.

If you are traveling from out of town and need a place to stay, our community would be happy to host you. Please reach out to our housing coordinator (announced in the fall)

Olivet Congregational Church – Saturday, February 13

  • Street parking with 1-2 handicap spaces in front of the building (handicap sticker/tag required) on Dewey Street
  • Outdoor ramp entrance to the floor where all activities take place
  • One of the bathrooms (also on main level as all activities) is accessible and has grab bars

Please note that the Saturday night social and Sunday morning Gospel Brunch events are held in private homes that are only accessible via stairs.
