Food

Dinner on the Ground is a wonderful tradition and a staple of any robust singing. Let’s keep it alive!
If you are willing and able, please bring lots of food! Plan to make enough food to feed 10+ people with each dish you bring and bring a couple of them. We also have a Saturday night social, and a Sunday mingle sing, so please plan to bring some snacks or leftovers everywhere you go!
There will be plug-in spaces for crockpots on Saturday at University Baptist Church. Here is a TikTok from Babs about how to keep hot things hot and cold things cold in your cooler!
Please make sure you have the information you need to label your dish(es) so your fellow singers know what’s safe for them to eat. We’ll have cards so you can check off the basics, but more information is always better! For example, if your dish has pre-made components like a sauce or seasoning mix, double-check the ingredients to be certain you’re labeling accurately. Here’s a list of the most common allergens to be aware of.
We are excited to see you and sing with you! If you have food-related questions, please reach out to Kat (katilda00@gmail.com) or Suz (suzmcfate@gmail.com). We can’t wait to see which “salad” you decide to make!
